The tallest of the four peaks, Humphry’s Peak, rises 12,635 ft, while the other three peaks of the range include Agassiz Peak at 12,356 ft, Fremont Peak at 11,967 ft, and Aubineau Peak at 11,837 ft.

Located in the northern part of the state and the gateway to Grand Canyon National Park, Flagstaff is known for its cool, dry climate and stunningly scenic surroundings. The city is situated at an elevation of about 7,000 feet and is surrounded by the Coconino National Forest, providing endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Hiking and biking trails wind through the forest, and the city is home to a number of golf courses, as well as nearby lakes and reservoirs that offer opportunities for fishing, boating, and other water sports.
